I know I haven't posted anything here in quite a long time; that isn't because I don't have anything to post, it's more the fact that our scanner broke earlier in the year... and now this...
By, "this", I mean the fire that my family unfortunately had just last month.
Nobody was hurt, but two of our cats are still missing...
...so have been living in hotels for the last month, and a half (thanks, Uncle Luke Skywalker!
I'm probably going to have to go without internet for quite some time, after this weekend, or so... whenever we move in.
And I hope by Christmas, I can get a new laptop, tablet, and the family gets a scanner; so that my group can start working again, and so that I can finally put up my Zelda, Nintendo, and Soul Calibur fanart up. ^_^
...one thing that irks me, is how two-faced so many people are; I can't even count how many times I've been disgusted with what people have said, and done, behind not only my back; but my family's back. I'm mostly talking about our now ex-landlord - of *12* long years, and ex-upstairs neighbours - of *6* long years; but there are a few others I'd rather not mention... not even worth mentioning... unfortunately, includes family members... sorry, Gramma... -_-
...so, I'd like to quote my brother, Robert aka Bruce, on this subject (also one of my favourite scenes, from Batman Begins ^.^), since I believe it would go very well here;
"...To all of you, uh, all you phonies, all of you two-faced friends, you sycophantic suck-ups who smile through your teeth at me, please leave me in peace. Please go. Stop smiling. It's not a joke. Please leave. The party's over. Get out."
~Bruce Wayne
...I couldn't agree better, even if that was just an act for the poor fools' safety, hah!
Anyways, was mostly updating this to put up some nice requests others have done for me, via the Projects forum - also, have a few requests pending; and I really hope they get them done. ^-^
(...although, since I've been let down before, by dealing with lazy artists... argh... I'm a bit jaded from that; but I feel like I can have more faith in these artists, since they don't seem like that type; from what I'm reading.
...plus wanted to add my group, ~CTM-Studios, to my journal, as well. Love you guys.
And that I joined a writing project, which you can learn more about here; Fantasy Shared World (Writers wanted!)... (I still gotta get around to filling out the proper form, and stuff... let alone actually writing up something yet... ey ye ye...
I also wanted to announce that after Christmas, whenever I get all settled again; I'll probably be interested in doing request, and art trades - all fanworks are going up on this account; and all original works are going on my group's account, just so y'all know.
(title of journal, because Robert was mentioning the Bob Dylan movie, "I'm Not There"; when I was trying to come up with something.
Peace! ^_^

Because they were having some trouble with colour contrasts, they made multiple colours for the hilt; including dark blue to resemble the Master Sword, since they noticed I'm a Link, and The Legend of Zelda fan (obviously ^^).
Only the sword that my character, in the graphic novel series, will be using; will probably be a little altered, such as having a carnation around the bottom of the blade/top of the hilt.
Bartholomew, and the other characters present in this scene, are from Magicus Quest; which my group, ~CTM-Studios; has been writing, and re-writing, since 2000 - and hopefully, will be online sometime within the next year, as things settle down. ^.^

And I think Heath definitely put himself up on that pedestal with Jack Nicholson.

and yes, you're right with people being two faced... but I think the best is just ignoring them or accepting the fact that they are this kind of way and not letting them put you down
I am looking forward to more art from you
and best wishes from me to you and your family, really hoping things will go better for you now

And thankyou, I hope so, too; especially with Christmas right around the corner.
Yes! Heath Ledger did such an excellent job; his performance was truly frightening.
The Batman movie by Tim Burton is definately a classic; but I think the newer ones are much darker (probably 'cause the Tim Burton one was more like that of the comic - I think, since haven't read Batman

"Do not hate humans. If you cannot live with them, do not them no harm, for theirs is already a hard lot." ~Lisa, Castlevania.
Yesh... best to ignore... but it's irritating, because it does get on your nerves easy.
...but you're right, it's a waste of enegry to worry about them... thankyou for that.
Hehe, I can't wait to put up nice artwork. ^-^
Aww well... and thanks again; that means so much to me.

I think Nolan and Burton got the idea. As far as I'm concerned, there's only four Batman movies. Those other atrocities never happened. hahah
If you haven't read Batman, I suggest you should. If you're ever interested, I can drop you some suggestions on books to follow.

I thought he was decent as Batman, although, it kind of hurts my throat to hear him making such a deep voice as Batman.
Yes, Tim Burton, and Nolan, did a great job.
Hehe, yes, I should. Which books would you recommend? They're always making several adaptations/versions of these comics, it might be tad confusing to follow sometimes, I think; but am not sure.

Then there is (my personal favorite) "The Long Halloween." Which is a fantastic mystery. You'll even recognize some background characters from the movies, like Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone.
They're both graphic novels you should be able to find at any bookstore or local comic shop, if you have one.

I can't wait for the next Batman movie... originally, there were rumours of Harvey Dent/TwoFace coming back; but I don't think so. IGN made an artice about maybe the Riddler, or Ra's Al Ghul's (sp?
My brothers have mentioned reading about, "The Long Halloween"; so I'm pretty sure we'll be getting that one. Maybe by Christmas. ^_^
Okayies, thanks again for that; will be looking into them for sure.

yes, it takes a time after you settled down in a new area, also to relax from the stress a move causes, but if its a nice area it'll be easier to do so
you are very welcome!
